TheRecipeManager allows you to store pictures with your recipes.

When you are adding a new or modifying a recipe you can include a picture of the recipe. All you need to do is to drag and drop the picture you wish to include with the recipe on the Photo tab. If you are adding a picture from a web page then you do need to save it to your computer before you attempt to add it to TheRecipeManager. You can also paste a copied picture onto the Photo tab. The picture format does need to be either a jpeg or png.

Note: When adding a picture to the picture field you should consider the implications of adding very large images. We recommend that you keep the picture size to around 100kb. Adding very large pictures to recipes will ultimately slow down the performance of the database.

You can store more than one photo with each recipe. When you add subsequent photo's the photo tab will alter and give you the ability to decide if you wish to add another picture or replace the picture you already have stored.

After you have dropped a new picture on the photo tab select the 'Add a New Image' button if you wish to add that picture to the picture(s) you already have or select the 'Replace Selected Image' button to replace the highlighted picture.

Once you have added the pictures, you can sort the order the order they are stored in and select which picture you wish to include in any print out. To do this select the 'Order...' button on the Photo tab.

This will open a new window which enables you to drag and drop the pictures you have stored in the sequence you prefer. You do this by simply dragging the pictures on the left hand side of the window. To select the image you wish to be included in a recipe print out, highlight it and select the 'Select for Printing' button. To remove a picture, highlight it and select the 'Delete Selected Image' button. Once you are happy with the sequence and your preferred printing option select the 'Close'

When you have finished editing the pictures select the √ 'save' button to save your pictures.

You can view the picture you have stored at it's full size by selecting the magnify glass button the Photo Tab. You can also toggle the which picture is displayed by selecting the X of X switch above the magnify glass button.
