We are always more than happy to help customers with problems with their recipe datafiles. These files are too big to be sent via e-mail so need to be transferred to us via FTP. This is easy to do on Vista using Internet Explorer. Before uploading the file make sure you name it something unique so we can identify your file.
Open Internet Explorer and then type the FTP address into the ADDRESS BAR ftp.therecipemanager.com and then press the Return or Enter key.
You will then be presented with a window asking you to enter details of your User name and Password. In the User name field enter public and then in the Password field enter public_ftp, making sure that you don't miss out the underscore in between public and ftp. Then press the Log on button.
Now go to the Page menu and select Open FTP site in Windows Explorer.
You will again be prompted to enter your User name and Password. As previously, in the User name field enter public and then in the Password field enter public_ftp, making sure that you don't miss out the underscore in between public and ftp. Then press the Log On button.
Double click on the Pub folder and then drag and drop your file onto the window. This will start the upload.
You will then see a progress window which shows your file being copied to the FTP server. This will take a few minutes as the cookbook files are fairly large. When this completes you can close all the windows and e-mail us to let us know that you have uploaded the file.
