So here's the problem, you have recipe that you want to cook, but you don't want to take your computer into the kitchen. Or maybe you have a big kitchen but can't read the recipe from across the room. You could print it off on a piece of paper, but what if your printer runs out of ink? Well fortunately you don't have to worry about any of this.

TheRecipeManager has a unique Cooking View window that solves this problem.

To open this window, highlight the recipe that you wish to cook, and then select 'Cooking View' from the 'View' menu. Or press the 'Cooking View' button on the recipe browser window.

You can open multiple cooking view windows. This can be useful if you are cooking multiple recipes at one time. All you need to do is to highlight a different recipe and then select 'Cooking View' from the 'View' menu. Or press the 'Cooking View' button on the recipe browser window. You can control whether you allow multiple windows by setting the relevant preference.

The cooking view allows you to view recipes from a distance, ensuring that your computer is out of harm's way. You can alter the size of the text that is displayed by adjusting the sliding bar at the top left hand corner of the window. Next to this is the option for how the window displays the ingredient list and the recipe instructions.
