TheRecipeManager doesn't currently have the facility to allow you to customize the print template to format the output for different paper sizes. This is something that we have added to our enhancement list for the future.

One solution to this is to export a recipe to the clipboard, so you can then paste it in a word processor for formatting.

As an alternative, you can alter the page setup and configure a custom paper size.

To set the page setup you need to select 'Page Setup...' from the 'File' menu.

This opens the page setup window. Select the 'Paper' button from the bottom left corner of this window.

From the 'Paper Size' menu, select 'Manage Custom Sizes...'

Now select the '+' button on the left hand side of the window to add your own custom page size. You can now set the paper size and also define the borders for the page here.

When you are finished press the 'OK' button on all the page setup windows

Now select the recipe you wish to print and and when you get to the following Print window, select 'Page Handling' from the third menu (normal titled 'Copies and Pages).

In the paper handling section of the print window check that you have the 'Destination Paper Size' set to your new custom paper size. Once this is done you can then press the 'Print' button.
