The Lifestyle Tracker enables you to log and monitor your food intake. There are two ways of adding items to the food intake tracking window. You can either send a recipe to the food tracker, or add indiviual items from the USDA database. If you send a recipe then you do need to have already add the nutritional information to it.

To add a recipe, simply highlight it in the recipe list and then select 'Create Food Intake Activity For Recipe...' from the 'Recipes' menu or or via the context menu.

This will open the LifeStyle Tracker on the Food Intake view. You will notice that the nutrient and comments fields will be populate with details from the recipe. You can modify these and then add the; Date, Time, and a short description. Once you have completed this select the √ 'save' button at the bottom of the window. If you don't want to save the food intake you can select the × 'cancel' button at the bottom of the window.

All the readings added will then be displayed in the list at the bottom of the Lifestyle Tracking window. The list can be ordered by selecting on any of the column headers; Date, Short Description, Calories, Carbs, Protein, Fat and also filtered by the drop down menu above the list.

You can also add an item to the food intake tracking database from the nutritional database. This allows you to add single items that may not be a complete recipe.

To add an item select the + 'Add food intake reading' button at the bottom left corner of the Lifestyle Tracking Window.

The select the Nutritional Pyramid 'Calculate USDA Nutrient Database Values...' button to launch the Add Up Food Nutrition window.

From the nutritional database window you can then search for the item you wish to add. You can do this by typing in the food item in the 'Search for food items containing' field at the top right hand corned of the window. Once you have done this select the Magnify glass 'Search' button. You will then see matching items displayed in the list at the bottom of the browser. Highlight the item and the serving size, that you wish to add, and then select the + 'Add Food Item' button. This will add the item to the ' Selected Food Items' list.

Once you have added all the items you wish to the ' Selected Food Items' list, √ 'Finished' button at the bottom of the Add Up Food Nutrition window.

Then on the Lifestyle Tracking window you can add the; Date, Time, and a short description. Once you have completed this select the √ 'save' button at the bottom of the window. If you don't want to save the food intake you can select the × 'cancel' button at the bottom of the window.

Once you have added information you can then use it to create graphs or print reports.
