TheRecipeManager will run with Apple's FileVault switched on, but it does require the installation of a new code library that fixes the problem.

When we discover problems with TheRecipeManager in between updates and upgrades, we sometimes need to produce a new version for customers. When we do this we produce a library file that fixes the problem. This library file then needs to be added to TheRecipeManager package. What follows are the steps you need to take to do this.

Firstly you need to DOWNLOAD the compressed library file.

Before you install the new library you need to make sure that TheRecipeManager is not running. If it is then you should quit TheRecipeManager.

Open a Finder window and then navigate to TheRecipeManager application in the Applications folder

Control + Select TheRecipeManager application. This will display a context menu. On this menu select the option Show Package Contents

This will open a new Finder window. On this Finder window you need to navigate to the TRMdata Folder. The path to this is /Contents/MacOS/TRMdata.

In the TRMdata Folder you will see a file called TRM.lbs. You should rename this file to something like TRMv3.lbs. Once you have done this move the new TRM.lbs file into this Folder. Close the Finder windows and launch TheRecipeManager.
