Exporting a RecipeManager formatted recipe file is simple and quick. Exporting to a RecipeManager formatted file is best used when you are exchanging recipes with other users who are running the RecipeManager. It should also be used if a recipe has a picture.

Select the recipe or recipes that you wish to export and then from the 'File' menu, move down to the 'Export Recipe' option. This will then provide you with three choices. Select 'To Recipe File...'.

You will then be presented with the 'Save the Recipe' window. This allows you to navigate to where you wish to export the recipe. When you have selected your desired location, click on the 'Save' button, and this will then export the selected recipe.

If you are exporting multiple recipes you will only be prompted for a location for the first recipe. This location is only stored while you are running TheRecipeManager. When you restart the program this location will default to the Recipe Exports folder.
