TheRecipeManager enables you to export shopping lists to the clipbard or a plain text file. You may wish to do this to e-mail a shopping list or format it in a word processor before printing.

Once you have created your shopping list, with the Shopping List window open, select the 'File' menu and move down to the 'Export Shopping List' option. This will then provide you with three choices. Select either 'To Plain Text File...' or 'To Clipboard'. You do need to to make sure that the shopping list window is the top window.

You will then be presented with 'Export Shopping List' window. On this window you should select the shopping list(s) you want to export from the list on the right hand side of the window. Then using the radio buttons select how you wish the list to be sorted.

If you select 'Sort by store and section' then the list will be exported in any store sections you specified for the list. If you select 'Use current sorting' then the list will not be sorted in any specified store sections.

Once you have everything set as you wish, press the 'Export Shopping List' button and the shopping list will be exported.
