TheRecipeManager lets you quickly and easily add new recipes.
You can do this by selecting the '+' button on the Recipe Browser, or by selecting 'New Recipe' from the 'Recipes' menu, or by pressing the 'Command + n' keys, or via the context menu.
When you add a new recipe it will automatically be added to the cookbook you have set as your current cookbook. You can set this by selecting which cookbook you wish to be current on the cookbook list above the recipe list.
When you add a new recipe all the fields of the Recipe Browser will be cleared, allowing you to add a new recipe. If you don't have all the details at hand when you add a new recipe, you can modify the recipe again later if you need to.
You save the recipe by selecting the √ 'save' button at the bottom of the Recipe Browser. If you don't want to save the recipe you can select the × 'cancel' button at the bottom of the Recipe Browser
Try to provide complete details of your recipe, specifically details that are used for searching, such as; Classification, Source, Category, Type and Origin.
When you enter a recipe with a long name it appears to be cropped when you save the recipe. The long name has been saved and can be viewed as a 'tool tip' if you place the mouse pointer over the name of the recipe.
